Last night, I send Ti..to Singapore Expo for her Teachers's Day Rally. About seven thousand teachers will attend the rally by PM Brigadier GN Lee Hsien Loong. While she was attending the rally. I am attending the Comex 2006 IT exhibition, at Hall 1 to 9, which last til 3rd Spetember.

Comex 2006 exhibition was cool. But I had nothing to buy for everything that I needed, I already had. The tablets...the webcam... the PCTV interface..yada yada yada....Just being there t catch up what's new.

Ti had done about 2030hrs with the Teachers Day Rally which was somewhere at  Max Pavillion, yesterday. We merge again at Singapore Expo MRT made our way to Tampines. She had not been eating for the whole day.  We had dinner in KFC, me having chicken chop and coconut pie and she savour chicken salad. She was so excited of telling me the outfit she wears in school, earlier in yesterday's afternoon. Its a a yellow gown of the character Belle from Beauty and The Beast. Other teachers put on other outfits as well. Her school responded to The New Paper Challenge, with the theme "Be Yourself Day". Its quite hilarious on the way she describe about having to put on that gown while going to canteen, teaching in class and going to the toilet. Its like having tons and tons of laundry under her legs..restricting her movements. She had to carry the bundle of clothes..just like a runaway bride...Hahaha.. We were apart at her block somewhere around 11pm.

Earlier this evening, Ti flew to Bangkok for her much needed holiday. I know its sounds nuts for situation in Thailand is quite hostile. Recent series of bombings were reported for the last two days in Southern part. For her, the only refuge from hustle and bustle of life as a school teacher of 10 years, is during school holidays. Will write about it later.....

Earlier this afternoon she and other teachers went to Fish Farm with other teachers, an educational trip. They were given fish and some vegetables as tokens for their visits. Later that afternoon, they had lunch at Hyat Hotel organised and sponsored by her school advisory commitee in conjuction with Teachers day.

After Friday Prayers I set off too Changi Airport Terminal 1, to send off Ti. On my way, she SMSed that her family which consists of her mother, her elder brother and 2 nephews, will be there as well to send her off; a situation which both of us did not expected in the first place. You see, at this moment, she prefer her family not to know that we are attached.

So I watched her and her family from a distance in the Departure Hall. However I manage to do a farewell talk to her after her family went upstairs at the viewing mall. At the departure gate, I was introduced to Jen, Faith and Anne, her teacher friends whom going with her to Bankok. I responded by saying "Happy Teachers Day, ladies.. Have a nice trip."

Her flight, Thai Airways TG 412 was scheduled to take off at 1715. It was 1600 and I took my late lunch.

At 1645, again I proceed to the Viewing Mall, and saw her family was there too. But they don't know me, while I passed by them and sat quite a remote bench...but still could have a clear view of them and Thai Airways. At this juncture, I am interacting with Ti, by SMS.

Ti: Will call u when I reach there. Luv u.

Me: U r already in the Plane?

Ti: Departure Hall.

Me: I am looking at my future mum-in-law. Trying to send her telephatic messages. Hehehe

Ti: Pls don't do that, darling. LOL!

...and the plane took off, safely.

It was 2037hrs, and before I reached my home doorstep, Ti called, that she had made touchdown. She was exhausted.
