Entry for April 27, 2007
photo

I saw a snake (maybe 30 inches long) crossing my path at the campsite. It had a thin matte black body with a dashed line of violet. Well, it looked poisonous to me, so I walked away from it...

Then I regretted not taking a photo, so I went out of my room again in search of it. Maybe it was good that I didn't chance upon it again.

So I spent the afternoon taking photos of the plants, flowers and yeah, the hibiscus is common over here. I especially love the white ones! For those of you who do not know, the hibiscus is actually the national flower of Malaysia, my beloved country, tanahair.
