So you think you might live to be a 100? Or maybe 80? Or are you counting down from there?

This week alone many lives were taken. A friend and brother and passionate Christian, Bro Stephen Choo. A blogging friend's grandma. A lot of students in Virginia Tech. Their beloved professor who stood in the gap and let his life be taken first. A lot of others in hospitals, homes, roads, everywhere.

We don't live in a zoo. Unlike what most people think, that a zoo is a crazy place. The zoo is really a peaceful, sheltered habitat for animals who are no longer able to fend for themselves in the wild.

No, we don't live in a zoo. We are part of this world... The question is are you IN but not OF this world? So what if you invested to make your earthly life successful but have not prepared yourself for eternity.

Are you storing up your treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal?

We are stubborn in our minds, our hearts and our principles. We know everything. We can do anything and go anywhere we want. And so with that, we direct the course of our lives.

But Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one goes to the Father except through Me."

Was just talking some time ago to some friends, and to sum it up, a lot of people think hell is a place of unspoken pleasures and a paradise to fulfil earthly desires. Who needs hell then, when you can get all that on earth. But friends, hell is a place of eternal suffering, loneliness and burning. Above all, it is a place of eternal separation from God and your loved ones.

We need to know the truth, that there is a heaven and we all belong there. Don't let your limited, stubborn, scientific, hard mind overcome what you really believe deep down inside your heart.

Well, if God created eternity, surely he placed eternity in your hearts. So you know it, just as I know it.

May the Lord bless you with wisdom and courage to do what's best for you and your loved ones in this crazy world. Remember to love your family and friends while they're still with you!
