You know, after living in JB for five years and watching the Singapore channels day in day out, you sort of get used to News without news... Seriously, nothing happens! But my first week in Australia, tck tck tck... there's news everyday...

Shortly after eating lunch at a famous Asian spot in Brisbane, some shops burned down there... Today, Queensland coasts were on tsunami alert. There was an acid spill somewhere... Today, they also recovered the body of Morgan Innes, a promising Brisbane ice skater, who was missing after a ferry crash last week. You know what this suddenly reminds me of?

I remember my first week working in Pasir Gudang. Nope, not news but accidents. I didn't pass a day when I didn't see an accident... perhaps only one or two were fatal, but that's bad enough!

Oh well, I'm too far interior to say that Australia is a happening place... but things are happening... and so they are too, on Wisteria Lane. Time for Desperate Housewives.
