Hi, this is Sara reporting from Kogan Creek Power Station. Weather's sunny and cool today. No incidents so far.

I was quickly introduced to the site management and my department personnel. Was very pleased to know that my notebook has been configured for internet access, though not wireless. That also means updating my blog will be a breeze.

No kangaroo sightings so far.

I'm still on a visitor's pass because I have not received my safety induction (that'll be tomorrow). Just did the Blue Dog Training & Exam which is required by the Queensland regulations for Construction Sites. It's cool because it is done online and the application process is straightforward.

Did some groceries at IGA... That's the nearest supermarket to my new home. You'll be surprised at the choices. I've decided that Black and Gold is the best brand to buy... They've got a wide range of goods, you name it, they have it. And reasonably priced too...

Today, the YTL staff took a photo together. Plus our Indonesian brothers, there are a total of 7 of us! I didn't even realise so many of us were here together in Kogan Creek!

Hey, btw, there is internet access in my room! Yippee!
