So talked to God lately? Or rather, heard from God lately? We had Cell Leaders meeting last night, and it was awesome. We spent 1/2 hour speaking in tongues and praying. Then we just had one round of sharing as to what the Lord had spoken or impressed upon us. It was amazing that two or three had their sorethroats healed, some were encouraged, a few had visions, some just felt like interceding for others and a handful had prophesies.

Pastor also shared his pointers for us:

• As we pray, we should expect that the Lord will speak to us
• If we get distracted and lose track in the middle of a vision, we can always mentally rewind the picture and pray again. Of course, if the Lord has an important message for us we will see the full vision
• The word of encouragement comes because speaking in tongues edifies ourselves
• Don't look at the watch, and you'll be surprised how time passes
• You will speak in new tongues as you speak and pray
• It's ok to pray in tongues and in understanding - it's not unusual to do that
• It's easier to speak in tongues when everyone else is
• The more you speak the less you struggle with it
