Happy New Year friends!

I hope the Nokia N75 is not the only exciting thing that's gonna happen this year. What a beautiful phone!

I wrote a really long blog on January the 1st, but I couldn't submit it... The internet connections have been really poor eversince the Taiwan earthquake. December 2006 saw another disaster in Malaysia. Flooding!

As I recall the story of Noah and the Ark in the Bible, I thank the Lord for His promise never to destroy mankind again by cursing the earth. In fact, God promised that everytime He sees a rainbow, He will remember His covenant promise to man that He will no longer destroy us completely with a flood.

A friend of mine yesterday was also spared from injury when a van crashed into her car. The car turned turtle but God protected her. Earlier last year, another friend of mine also crashed at the PLUS highway but amazingly escaped with a mere scratch.

Life is like that. Just as all is going well, we may be suddenly find ourselves in the face of death. Noah and his family were facing death when the waters arose. But the Lord delivered them because he was faithful to God and had obeyed by building the ark. The ark carried his family and every species, male and female, of God's creation.

How wonderful is God's saving power, if only we learnt to rely on it!
