life is like a child's smile - innocent, uncaring. it does not expect from you anything but in a non-returnable way, we expect everything from it be it good or bad. Continue to live a non-demanding life and you will fee more secure a better human being on this small planet(IN COMPARISON TO THE VAST UNIVERSE over our head).

photography is a media which in recent times has only come uo. before the, when ohotography was not there, the human urge to see himself in a frame was very much present. but the affordable one could get themselves painted by the reputed painters, many english who came to india after east india co.settled its roots. therefore before the advent of photography the moghal kings and queens, rajputs and others got their their life memories painted on canvas otherwise we were not able to recognise our ancestors. during bauddha and mahavir's period, the memories were conserved in the form of stone statues. in all these periods, preservation of images was only the pastime of people who were rich ones. common man was far from these costly approaches of the then elite class. but during 18th and 19th centuary, the advent/invention of photography made it possible for the lower class people to get themselves photographed and thus preserve their ancestor's memories. it was un -imaginable that the common will be able to afford to keeo his images intact for posterity. this was made possible the then photographers and the existing one to make their art into a presentation of good photographs demanded by the elite as well as common class people. my humble tributes to the inventors of photography as the strong medium to keep images intact. second revolution came after the onset and inventions of computers, which made digital photography possible. our kudos to the untired efforts of our scientists working on this media and i hope one day it will be more common that the analogue photography, the other branch successfully running till this time. there is no competition but two closely knit separate branches of the same genre. till analogue exhausts, the digital is there to take over, since 70% work is done on this branch because of ease of convenience. i think, what will be the map of all these after 10-20 years. lord forbid.

in the words of swamy chinmayanand- suppression of mind is no process of raising it into the perfection of Godhood. it will erupt as a volcano, if it erupts. mind is to be held back from its self destroying imaginations through a diligent process of discrimination.' we are not GOD. WE ARE A LITTLE HUMAN BEING WHO HAS LOST ITS CONSCIOUS MIND IN THE PRESENT DAY WORLD of self destruction. there doesn't to be any saviour. the sufferings are the ultimate. but still the ray of hope comes down in the form of a smile, which is thousand times creative than yr nasty thoughts about life and its existence. this thing is brought out by the photographer in the form of a child's smile which makes u visibly active and optimistic and even enthusiastic to go through the life's chill.

some people are of blown up mind - in this way they can be termed 'half minded' recently i saw an example of such a person on a website. to writing blog is alright - express yr ideas, opinions, but that shd not be put on others shoulders forcibly. that gentleman is having the habit of sitting on his computer hours together writing blogs - what is not included in his blogs - in my view 90% of them are useless - who has the time of reading boring very very lengthy blogs. actually that site is not for blogging. being from Mumbai, he anyhow managed to convince the admn. of big sources names and the blogs were published. in the meantime some sincere persons could not bear his useless blogs and one or two members threatened to quit, if that man persist to write blogs. here is the gist of my saying is that write blogs, u are free, but to express also something which may touch the feelings of people reading yr blogs. not necessary that the blogs shd be lengthy but shd have some meaning/tips/teachings/expressions pertaining to life or any other subject, or u can open yr feelings here that may be a guidance to somebody.
here my subject is photography, which i am doing since last more than 30 yrs. and have gone through several books, journals, exhibitions etc. but these are the guidelines - the real thing must come from yr heart, whether it is ordinary or exemplary. yr camera must move on since there is no dearth of subject but it is lack of thinking/catching the ideas, generating ideas, sometimes direct shooting and other time making yr own pix. once started the ideas float up and now incoming of D-cameras has made photography simple, enjoying, interesting because the features we could not find in low priced cameras of that time for general public, are now accessible thro compact d-cameras, leave aside the prosumer or the d-SLRs which may be used by advance enthusiasts and the pros, alike.
