You begot me in pain





fed me with milk of human kindness.











In your bosoms hugged me,





warmed me, my heart





my soul …………

Your sugary lullaby was





my first school lesson





Your love in deed so explicit,





manifest in your sacrifice.





Ye! the elixir of compassion,





unfathomed reservoir of virtues





Your blessings I seek,





for I'm a mortal so weak





part with me not.
