I'm sure that you'll find many of my blogs will start with something to the effect of "it's been awhile..." and it will generally be true as one can see.  Anyways just thought I'd let you all know we had a wonderful time visiting friends and family over Christmas Sprint...erm break.  Our Tour de Force of the Ohio/Ohio Valley regions was quite chocked full of holiday goodness.

We had a good J-term, classes went well and now we're back on our regularly programmed schedule...classes.  Although we are also doing our Teaching Parish sites now too, which is really nice to be part of a congregation off of campus again.  The campus community and worship is lovely too, we even have kids, but still just nice to get away from the campus once in a while.

We went to the Chinese New Year parade in San Francisco.  I will have pictures up of it shortly.  I heard that it is the largest night-time parade in the nation, and quite possibly the world.  Pretty amazing stuff.  The camera batteries died before the grand finale, a 300ft. dragon that nearly knocked specatators over if they were too close to the street.  I took some video clips too, but I'm not sure if I can post them on this part, but I may find some way to post a couple for your viewing pleasure.  Back to the homework.
