So I apparently need to carry the camera around with me at all times.  The last two days I have found myself within 10 feet of 3 deer.  The other day I was searching for Sarah's purse and as I was walking by the Great Hall and the administrative offices.  As I walked by the fountain something caught my eye and lo and behold there not more than 8 feet away from me was a doe and her fawn, they warily meandered off after a minute or two of sizing me up.
Then today as I booked it up the hill to get my loan check I was taken aback by a small buck (2 points on each antler so I guess that makes him a 4 point) and he was not but 3 feet off of the path to the office, surprisingly he staid and grazed as  I walked by.  He ran away when I came back the second time though.
Then of course there was also the large buck (many points I couldn't tell) that Sarah and I saw one evening on our way up the hill.  He was merely trotting down one of the city streets, it was rather surreal.  It kind of reminded me of the moose walking in the middle of the town in that tv series that took place in Alaska.
So unfortunately no pictures, but hopefully I'll have my camera the next time I happen upon a deer.
