Kleines Kettenkraftrad was developed by NSU in 1939 as Kettenkraftwagen HK 101 and entered production in late 1940
as Kleines Kettenkraftrad. Almost 90 percent of all vehicles produced were made by NSU and the rest by Stoewer in Stettin.
Total of 8807 was produced from 1940 to 1944.
