Mistypoint Labradors began in 1979 with our Misty. href="/homestead/mistypointlabs10/misty.htm" >She died in an accident in 1986.� We purchased our Labradors for breeding and showing in 1986.� We have had 15 litters since then.� We do field, show, and obedience with our dogs.� Several of the dogs do therapy work and our male Brady sired a litter for Canine Companions for Independence.� We like our puppies to go to homes that will give them a job to do. |

���� CH Mistypoint Snowman Chester, CGC has 31 Best of Breeds.� Chester is owned by Jackie and Leroy Lund.� Mistypoint Norwegian Wood won The Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Club Specialty in 1996 over an entry of 400 Labradors.� Our own Mistypoint Mirror Image was Reserve Winners at theLabrador National in 1997.� We have bred 10 Canadian Champions, 2 American Champions, 6 have earned CD's including Mistypoint Heiress Osa CD, CGC, TT, TDI.� Osa is owned by Lyn and Ralph Belingheri.� She has been written up in the San Francisco papers for her work as a therapy dog. We are proud of our newest Champion, Mex Intl Am CH SR Mistypoint Zachary of Troon, Am/Can WC,CD,JH,CGC, owned by Pam and Mike Bennett. Zachary finished his Championship in May 2000. |

��� We have bred four AKC Junior Hunters including SR Mistypoint Stonybeck Piper JH, CGC, WC.� Piper is owned by Mary Trick.� Mistypoint Almanor Joe JH, CGC, 3 point Major, owned by Ron and Heidi Ulm. Many of our dogs have working certificate and Canine Good Citizen awards.� We pride ourselves ondoing the best for each dog that we own.� Our special dog Taylor spentmany hours at our local long-term hospital visiting the elderly.� Labradorsborn here have our total support for life.� My husband shows many of themin the breed ring and has had many wonderful wins. |

���� Our focus has been to improve the life of the Labradors we breed.� Ourpuppies must go to people who will make them full members of theirhousehold.� Our puppies that stay here have an extremely permissive life.Our adult dogs have free run of the house and daily runs in the woods. |

���� We check the hips and elbows of all of our dogs.� We check for eyeproblems on a yearly basis.� We enjoy going to the WestCoast specialties and hunting trials in our area.� All puppies are testedfor retrieving ability with a wing or a pigeon about 7 weeks old.� Ourpuppies are house raised with much loving care. |

��� We are members of The Sierra Vista Labrador Retriever Club and the NorthAmerican Hunting Retriever Association. |
|
|
|
��� We also support the Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue and Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue, Inc.��
