The political leadership of The UNITED STATES of AMERICA has abdicated it's role of representing the majority will of the nation and has kowtowed to the demands of the vocal minorities, in the hope that pandering to these groups would curry them favor for the next election. The UNITED STATES is quickly slipping away from majority rule and heading toward parochialism, which will only hasten the slide toward balkanization.
