Padilla and the Rangers roughed up again

The Texas Rangers took on their AL West rivals the Seattle Mariners and were roughed up for the second straight day. Padilla went four and two-thirds innings giving up ten runs on eleven hits. Washington said that the last two days don't mean anything it is still spring training and is NOT worried because the season has not started yet.

Ok, maybe Washington is NOT worried yet but right now I am worried Sammy Sosa will finally take the field today the last day of spring training and John Rheinecker and Joaquin Arias are both hurt...and yesterday Feldman took a line drive off of his arm and is day to day. This is seriously starting to freak me out just for the fact that the Rangers are starting to see injuries right now. Now that could be a good thing or that could be a bad thing. Maybe they are getting all the injuries out of the way right now, or maybe it is just the start of something us rangers fans don't want to see an injury prone season.

Still good news for Chen in that they have to have an eighth person in the rotation on Opening day and Jamey Wright got the fifth starter spot but will start in a triple a game before they call him up to the big leagues. But still with one spot left in the bullpen I think the Rangers ought to seriously consider adding Chen to the bullpen he has proven he can still hang with the big boys so why not give him another chance...I mean for crying out loud you gave Sammy Sosa a spot as soon as he came into camp not knowing what he could still do and in my opinion Chen has proven more to me this spring training than Sammy Sosa so add him to the bullpen for crying out loud. But hey we will have to see huh my peeps, so what do you think who should get the last bullpen spot? Ok, until next time I WILL SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS.
