The Texas Rangers won a couple of days ago on the bat of newly acquired Jarrod Saltalamacchia. So last night the rangers were expecting the same from Kason Gabbard but had no luck. Kason who is mostly a ground ball pitcher got 12 of his 17 outs on ground balls but some mistakes really cost him. Many people probably think that the Rangers were screwed on another deal and I BELIEVE NOT. The Rangers GM Jon Daniels made some brilliant trades at the deadline and really sured up the Rangers farm system and believe me if you get good pitching you don't have to have the big bats to win a world series just youngsters with losts of heart. This is the way the Rangers are starting to go and this is the best way to do it...the Braves of the 90's really had no big guns just young kids and some really darn good starting pitching so if the Rangers get their act together the last two months of the season and do some offseason acquistions this team could be a darn good team next year...GOOD LUCK GUYS AND GET ER DONE.
