The Texas Rangers in all of the hustle and bustle of the last two weeks finally traded Eric Gagne to the Boston Red Sox for a starting pitcher and an outfielder and a rookie that shows potential. The Rangers did NOT make the trades without talking to both Gagne and Teixeira about possible contract extensions. The Rangers offered Tex an 8 yr 140 million dollar contract and guess what? You guessed it he turned it down...of course his agent is the same agent as arod's so yes you can call him whatever you want I will call Scott Boras  a greedy 7 letter dirty word. Ok the deals are done and J.D. despite what people think did a brilliant thing in trading the two best teams in baseball the last 5-15 years...so thanks J.D. The Rangers last night won in Cleveland 3-1 on the bat of Nelson Cruz who has been swinging a hot bat here of late...keep it up. The pitching was gr8 too so thank you for the good work. Well better go and remember guys to GET ER DONE.
