Rangers win and more of my thoughts on trades

The Texas Rangers last night in a must win game really turned up the heat against the second place Mariners and Sosa had everything to do with it. Sammy had a homerun and 5 RBI's in the game and continues to lead the team in Rbis. The Rangers pitching was back to where it needed to be also and Millwood continued back on his winning ways and boy it couldn't have come at a better time because texas was starting to fall out of even coming close to third place also. The Rangers continue to give up the big runs in a game though they gave up seven the whole game but still pulled out this game 8-7.

Ok, I might have misspoken and opened my mouth to soon, now here is my angle on the Texeira trade. Earlier in one of these blogs I mentioned that Tex would continue his winning ways in Texas and would not leave the club, but after much studying and doing my homework this is not true. Texeira in the next week will be traded for some qualtity starters and won't continue his career in texas and I have three reasons why. Number one there are several teams who continue to scout the Rangers and prominently scout Tex at the games...a couple of teams that interest me though and I think will be one of these teams he goes to will be Atlanta and Boston. Now I can hear it now why? This is why Texeira has continued to show his frustration with the Rangers and wants to go to a contending team and guess what guys and gals these are the two top contending teams in the Major Leagues. Atlanta is where Tex played his college ball and they have the potential to give up a couple of good pitchers. But there is also Boston who has NY right on their tales for the division right  now...and what better way to get them off then with some good ole fire power...plus they have a few pitchers we could get in return...and one final comment he is from Maryland and Boston is very close to his hometown much closer than texas. The other two reasons I will briefly state because they have been stated somewhat...Number two he wants to be traded because he wants to go to a contender...every players dream is to win a World Series and the younger the better. And finally the last reason why he is going to be traded is because he is continually frustrated with the Rangers organization...and believe me he has had some heated discussions with the manager this year.

It is also in the Rangers favor to get rid of him this year because the kids contract is up at the end of next year and he has said it would be very difficult for them to sign him to a long term deal and it would be remember he is represented by the same agent as AROD...SCOTT BORAS and he is notorious for screwing the Rangers. SO now do I think Tex is going to be traded of course I do...now I am seeing through the rose colored glasses. His days in Texas are long over and by the 31st of July he will be in some other major league organization more than likely in Boston or Atlanta. Texeira is a very good player and very talented but one thing he does have is an attitude...so guys let's get some pitching in return this year and start to build our team next year guys.

Enough of that the Rangers will look to continue their winning ways tonight as they will send out John Rheinecker to go against the Mariners and Feiraabend. The Rangers have a double header today to makeup for one of the games that was rained out earlier this year...so you will notice the gametime is at 4:05pm and it will be broadcast on FoxSports net with Josh Lewin and the very talented Tom Grieve making the call. SO GUYS LET"S GET ER DONE AGAIN.
