Ok, the rangers can come up with all types of excuses for this one but honestly I don't know and don't fricken care. The rangers in the game against the Padres yesterday were slaughtered 24 to 7. In the game the rangers gave up 24 runs on 25 hits and their stinking excuse was that the wind was blowing to hard. Kevin Millwood said he has never pitched in anything like that before and honestly I think that is a load of CRAP... you lived in Atlanta there were no tropical storms or hurricanes that came through during the season...YAH RIGHT. I think the truth of the matter is Millwood didn't have his best stuff and he just needs to say it and stop beating around the bush.
In what was going to be a reunion between two former Braves Maddux and Millwood it looks like to me that Maddux is getting the better end of the deal. Millwood gave up ten runs, Mahay gave up seven runs, Gagne gave up four runs, Littleton two runs, and the newcomer from the Houston Astros Astacio gave up one run. Basically what I am trying to tell you or show you in this case is that the Rangers GOT SPANKED.
Still bad news on the front of Sammy Sosa who has not played for 3 straight games and if he misses today it will be four days straight, but still Washington said he would be suited up today but it would depend on the virus if he could play or not...ok this is my thought we gave this guy a spot on the Rangers roster as soon as he came to camp after seeing absolutely nothing and we can't expect him to play through a stinking stomach virus. What about the rest of us working americans when we are feeling bad we still go to work, church, or school feeling bad and sticking it out...can this guy not stick it out... has he not heard the saying that there is NO CRYING in baseball. This is what I think send him out there and let him vomit while he plays and while he is in the dugout let him go and take his CRAPS. If he has to go in the field well ok then just let him CRAP his pants. Ok I think that is enough of that you get my drift.
Marlon Byrd yesterday really made it known that he wants to be in the rangers roster with his blast of his home run and he is getting pretty hot in that aspect. I think he will make the team and honestly if he don't make the team I will BE MAD. OK, that is all for now and guess what guys: SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS.
