The Rangers took on a different team but was in the same state when it happened the Rangers won against the Oakland Athletics. This comes on a night that the Rangers had plenty of scouts scouting two of the three players that are wanting to be acquired from the Rangers. The scouts got to see Gagne who did pick up his 14th save of the season and the scouts are STILL drooling over him. They too also got to see the Rangers first baseman Mark Teixeira who is also being coveted by many major league teams who are looking for some offense and some firepower.
The Rangers pitching from Jamey Wright who is trying to get his way back into the majors after plenty of seasons of plague of injuries got a serious looking at last night also. The young man is just going out there and having a good time and after eleven days of rest he come out to strike out two and walk four but only gave up four hits the whole game. He has two more starts left before the trade deadline and he is going to go out there and continue to pound the strike zone. That was not the only thing that kept the Rangers in the game the Rangers where on a hot streak and were hitting a lot of doubles in the game and they took the lead and kept it for once. With that win the Rangers are now just 3 and a half games out of third place and if they continue to win they could finish the season if we are lucky in the top 3 and in 3rd place again. The Rangers are calling up Robinson Tejada tonight to take on the Oakland A's Gaudin who is an impressing 8 and 4 on the season. The game will start at 9:05 Texas time and will be broadcast on Channel 27 in the local dallas fort worth market...SO guys keep up the good work as usual and remember to GET ER DONE.
