The Texas Rangers got off on the right foot in Boston...they lost their first game and then have won the last two in good fashion...both by a score of 2-1. The Rangers have several things to credit for their way of winning the last few series and when you look at the whole scope of things it has to be their starting pitching. The Rangers got started off the right foot a few starts ago when Kam Loe won against the Pirates and since then they have been unstoppable...Kam Loe has 4 wins to his no losses in his last four starts and is holding onto a 1.95 ERA through those four games. He is not the only Rangers starter to get on the ball but many of them all have started getting on track to have yet another good season. The Rangers have found out that winning and holding trust in this manager is going to get them a long way. The Rangers got off to a bad start this year and were as much as 20 games out of first place and now the rangers winning ways are getting them closer to third place. The Rangers are only 8 games out of third place and are now only about 10 games from second so as long as they continue their winning ways this team once they get all the injured players back will be unstoppable. The Rangers have Teixeira, Blalock, and now possibly Otsuka out a few days and Padilla is out...once these guys get back into the lineup with the exception of Padilla the Rangers will be a team to reckon with.
The Rangers did get a bit of good news yesterday and that is that they have voted in Michael Young to yet another All-Star game. He will join the Rangers manager Ron Washington who was voted in by the AL manager Jim Leyland. This will be Michaels fourth all star game and the Rangers team record is 10 yrs held by Ivan Rodriguez. The Rangers are happy and so is Young but he knows that there are other notable players that deserve to go to the game and is very HONORED to get to go again this year and hold the Rangers name HIGH.
The Rangers will complete their stint in Boston today as they take on the Boston Red Sox for the final game of this series and the Rangers will look to continue their winning ways against teams that are one and two in the league right now. The Rangers will send out Brandon McCarthy who will return off the DL that he was on for a blister on his finger. The Boston Red Sox will Gabbard who is one and zero and is looking for yet another win in his resume. Good luck to the Rangers and be sure to watch them as they are on tv FoxSports Net at 6:05 and they will look to keep on beating the really good teams...SO GUYS LET GET ER DONE.
