Well it finally happened and Sammy Sosa homered off of his former team the Chicago Cubs which was believe it or not the only Major League team he has not homered against in his career. But all good things come to an end and the fact that the Cubs finally got what they deserved is nice to know now Sosa joins an elite 5 ML players who have hit 600 or more homeruns only one of them though is still in the big leagues and that is Barry the STEROID Bonds. Sammy after hitting his 600th homerun came out of the dugout twice to give the fans another reason for a standing ovation. This has been along waited for now the Rangers and the media can move on and hopefully the Rangers can get back to what they do best and that is play some good ball.
But Sammy can't get all of the credit because for the second straight start Kameron Loe came out and really showed what he has got. Kameron in his last two starts is 2-0 with an era that is well under 1.70 which is really phenominal. In his first 6 starts he only had one quality and the Rangers were very close to sending him down...but he come back and came back with a MISSION...and that was to stay in the rotation.
The Rangers will play an afternoon game at 1:05pm. The Rangers will send out Padilla who has struggled the majority of this season and the Cubbies will counter with Ted Lilly who was a free agent at the beginning of this season that the Rangers were wanting so guys lets show them what we got and GET ER DONE. BTW, HAPPY BDAY TO MY WIFE.
