Ok, just when I thought that the rangers would go with Bruce Chen over the all others for the fifth spot in the rangers rotation I was proven wrong how dare them! The rangers on saturday decided to go with the young and talented ok maybe not young, but still talented 32 yr old Jamey Wright. On that note, the rangers have decided to go with Kameron Loe as a long reliever and pushing Joquin Benoit to the seventh inning. This not being a knock at Benoit but Washington is wanting to come out of the gate with one of the best bullpens in the majors and so be it. After this weekend the rangers are going to need to use some long relief this year. The other day Brandon McCarthy only went two and two thirds innings and if more of that continues this year we are going to need a GOSH DANG good long reliever. But hey that would be cool having Loe as a long reliever just for the fact that his spring era this year is 0.92 and that is a stinking low era and if he can carry that to the season and into the bullpen they won't have to worry about a thing.
But do I think this is a good move? Why of course the move for Loe yes but I would have went for Chen whose era was a little bit lower than the era of Wright but Washington did not want to lose out on that special something and I sure the heck hope that he sees something I don't see. Well, what do you think? Should it be Wright or Chen? Give me your feedbacks and of course I will SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS
