The Texas Rangers lost again last night and Vicente padilla is on the road to one CRAPPY season. With the loss last night he is 2-8 and has a horrific ERA. The Rangers bats can only help so much when you get down by seven runs and they just couldn't match the seattle mariners last night.

The Texas Rangers have said that there have been some interest in Mark Teixeira and are looking at all angles. The possible teams that have holes that need to be filled are Los Angeles Dodgers, NY yankees, Detroit Tigers and at least two other teams. The problem is the Rangers are going to want pitching from these teams and if they are in contension for the race to the playoffs they are NOT going to give anything up esp. pitching. The Rangers have expressed the desire to keep Mark in the rangers uniform but know at some point they are going to have to make a move somewhere. With Marks contract up at the end  of this season the Rangers really want him to stay and he wants to stay but has said that he would continue to perform no matter where he was playing. The other thing is that he is batting .355 and has seven hrs and 27 RBI's in just the month of May...so in return the Rangers are going to want a frontline starting pitcher.
