The Rangers in an effort to get Tejada back to his winning ways at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington fell short. The Rangers starter gave up 5 runs and then the relievers gave up absolutely no runs. All I have heard this year is that the Rangers need some pitching and yes to some extent that is true, but the Rangers core two starters are not what they are supposed to be and the 3 and 4 starters are combined 8-7 with McCarthy 3-0 this month. The truth of the matter is the Rangers don't need to get pitching just yet. The Rangers are trying to give some of the younger guns a shot at the major leagues and to no avail right now, but I will tell you this the Rangers offense does not help out that much either. When the Rangers get great relief pitching for instance what happened yesterday their bats can't get in the grove to get things going. Believe me though I have seen nothing but positive this year from this team yes it is not always positive results in the win loss column but it is positive for the future. So guys don't give up on these boys because good things will come to those who wait.
