YES, the Rangers did it for the first time this year and I guarantee you it won't be the last time. The Rangers blasted the NY Yankees 14-2 and the bats were more than hot they were SCORCHING. The pitching from Brandon McCarthy was very consistant for the second straight start for him. Remember I have been telling you to stay with the Rangers because when there bats get hot they stay hot. Now if the pitching stays consistant the Rangers will have a shot. The bats that were hot all included Texeira who was 4-5 with 3 RBIS and Sammy Sosa who had 2 RBIS. Victor Diaz put the finishing touches on the game when he hit a pinch hit grand slam to lead the Rangers to that 14-2 victory.
Ok, I am going to answer a question many Ranger fans have and that is: Is Sammy Sosa a distraction? Take it for granted this is only my opinion and somewhat of a bias one also but I am a consistant fan and despite what these IDIOTS on ESPN are telling you he is NOT a distraction. I recently heard from a columnist for ESPN and he was saying that he was a HUGE DISTACTION. This guy does NOT know what he is talking about plus he was running around in circles and when I emailed him he was RESPONSELESS. Listen to me having someone like Sosa could be a huge save in the end. This person with the espn column was saying Sosa was only in Texas for his record but he is NOT...and of course this columnist was all about the NY Yankees at the beginning of the season and you see how wrong he already is THEY ARE IN LAST TOO...so if you are reading this and you work for espn SHUT UP...the YANKEES SUCK. Before you start writing junk get your facts straight you YANKEE IDIOT.
Let's look at some of the things the Rangers can use Sosa as:
1) They can use him as trade bait...just the name can get you some huge pitchers(ie...if we had Clemens and wanted another good pitcher it wouldn't matter if he was 0-10 on the season with a 100.00 ERA someone would bite just because of the name).
2) Everyone wants SOSA!!!!
Ok that is my vent for the day if you have any questions leave them in the comments section and remember to leave those questions and I will have an open question Friday and answer all your Rangers questions...until next time SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS.
