The Rangers did it again they lost...but the manager said not to get frustrated there is still plenty of season to go along with. The Texas Rangers got spanked by the New York Yankees 10-1 and that was not the only bad news during the game. The Texas Rangers had more errors than they did hits. Ok, do you expect to win games that way I DO NOT think so. Kameron Loe the Rangers starter had a scoreless first and then all HECK broke lose from there by the fourth inning the Yankees had a 9-0 lead. The Yankees starter had a no hitter through the first seven innings plus then in the eighth the Rangers took advantage of the Yankees with a Blalock double and of course who else but Ian Kinsler got the RBI single. The Rangers starting pitching is 1-5 in this current losing streak and has nothing to show for it but BIG FAT LOSSES. Gerald Laird said it best though when he said that they are only four games out and plenty of season left so if they get something started who knows what could happen. Through it all though this team has done one thing and that is stay positive...and a positive attitude can get you a long way.
Bad news on the Rangers front and that is that Frank Cattlonotto is on the DL. But the good news is what he thought was a tear in his shoulder is only a little inflammation that will only require some meds and excercise and maybe a cortisone shot. That adds one more on a list of rangers to be on the DL...among the others are Jamey Wright, Eric Gagne, and now Frank Cattolonotto. The good news is like the others this is only the fifteen day DL.
The Texas Rangers take on the NY Yankees again tonight when the Rangers send out youngster Robinson Tejada to try to beat the Yanks and their pitcher Andy Pettitte. The game is another 7:05pm start and if their is any Yankee that they can get too it is Andy who had an average season last year in Houston and is said to only be having that in NY this year...so guys lets get er done TONIGHT...make them bleed in the mouth.
