Ok boys and girls just when I thought I have seen it all the Rangers score 12 and their starting pitcher did NOT go longer than 3 innings. I know you want to know how...well here you have it boys.
The Texas Rangers bats got off to a quick start and when I say a quick start I mean a quick start. Kenny Lofton the rangers first batter of the game said thank you to the Rangers configuration of the Ballpark because he went deep to right center field and landed one into the rangers bullpen. The bleeding did not stop there for Jae Seo though who gave up a three run jack in the second inning to Ian Kinsler who now on this young season is leading the team in home runs with 3 and has 6 RBI's. So did Jae Seo get any better heck no in the bottom of the third inning Frank the Cat Catalonotto went deep for a 3 run jack himself. In a game that the rangers scored 12 runs the teams 9,1,2 batters had a combined 3 home runs and 7 or more RBI's and we will see how that works out.
The Rangers starting pitching was ok, alright that is putting it lightly they did CRAP. The starting pitcher Jamey Wright only went two and two-third innings and gave up the lead with 5 runs in the top of the third. That is when manager Ron Washington went to the bullpen to get Scott Feldman who went two and two-third scoreless innings and got his first win in 47 appearances. The bullpen again came through for the Rangers and if they can get it to were the starting and relief pitching click then this team can and will be a force to recon with. But the good thing was that when the rays took the lead in the top of the third when it came to the bottom of the third the rangers bats scored seven runs. So hopefully all will be well and we will SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS.
