I know you have read the rangers site and then read this site from the other day and you are wondering how are the bats just now coming alive? I am wondering the same thing unless they think that one night the bats were not on...which would be a fair assumption. But last night the boys did it for someone and not just for someone but for a teammate ok they did it for Brandon McCarthy who got his first ML win as a Texas Ranger. McCarthy struck out five through six innings and knew that he was done after throwing 98 pitches but the game was still tied. With two outs in the bottom of the sixth the Rangers decided that their friend and collegue needed the win NOT a no decision. The bats came alive in the bottom of the sixth with 2 outs and the Rangers scored 6 runs and had 11 batters come to the plate. The only player NOT to have a hit was Sammy Sosa who went 0-5. Kameron Loe gave up a 2 run home run and the score was 8-4 and that was the final score, in the end Brandon McCarthy finally got his first win as a Ranger. Other good news was that Ian Kinsler had his first 4-4 or four hit game as a Ranger and had 2 RBI's to go with that. The Rangers with that win are now 3-4 on the season and trailing the Angels by 2.0 games.
