Ok, I know you can see in the title that I am being a little sarcastic...ok it is a little more than little. The Texas Rangers again last night had problems scoring runs and now on this young season they are 0-15 with runners in scoring position. Of course, it did not help that the Rangers killer Guerrero was on his A game and has been on that game everytime the Rangers take the field against him. It did not help that Padilla come out and gave up six runs and we gave this guy a stinking contract he better get on his A game or else he will be pitching for the Houston Astros. Padilla again has had some problems with the umpires and was really getting on their nerves again last night...you see Padilla pitches inside all the time and sometimes he has some bad command and that has got him in trouble the last couple of years. I can honestly say that last night was a combined effort for the loss the pitching choked and the bats have choked the last two nights. I don't know if it is something we have to worry about now but if the team goes 0-10 on the season and can't score runs I can tell you rumors will be made of Washington leaving Texas. Tom Hicks hired Washington to win games and the guy has not done that yet and it is not his fault it is the players fault so if they honestly love this coach they better do something to keep him around cause at this rate the rangers won't have him as a manager past the all star break if things continue this way. There was one good thing in the game last night and that is that Ian Kinsler finally hit another home run and leads the team with 2 home runs and leads the team in RBI's.
Can the Rangers beat the Boston Red Sox at this rate, I honestly don't know...if they keep up at this rate they will be 0-6 on the season and I don't want that. Today though the Texas Rangers will get one more shot at redemption and Brandon McCarthy makes his Rangers debut. Hopefully it will be like all the other debuts' in Texas good ones. Jason Jennings of the Astros went 7 innings and struck out 9 last night. It has been that way with all debuts' in MLB so hopefully Brandon will continue that. Until then I hope to SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS
