Rangers doing well in Spring Training

Hey all,

It has been a long time since I have posted anything on a blog and I totally apologize for that but the other site I was using was becoming very anal with what they wanted me to do...so here I go again.

In the last month the Texas Rangers have started their spring training and have got off to a great start if I am not mistaken on this day that I am blogging they are officially 11-8 on the season. One thing has been positive for them and that has been their pitching believe it or not they had at one time like 6 pitchers fighting for a fifth spot...but the day come yesterday that two of the pitchers were sent down and now it is up to Wright, Loe or Chen to get it done. But wait one slight problem Chen and Wright can become free agents if not added to the roster...and that could be a problem. But my way of thinking is if both continue to perform both will be on the roster one will be in the bullpen though and my thought on that is that Bruce Chen will be in the bullpen and Wright will get his shot in the majors to prove that he can hang with the BIG boys.

Other good news is that Eric Gagne has been showing some real progress in some simulated games and if he can come back to what he was in his LA days the one two punch of Otsuka and Gagne will be a force to recon with in the American League. I will have to say though I am most impressed with Gagne's comeback so far this season and honestly I think this may be the year that the Rangers break though the gates running...and believe me they are going to be a force to recon with all season long. Until next time I will see you soon...SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS
