Well rested and unshowered we set out and continued driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We stopped at Maeberry Mill and saw a few sights after eating breakfast.  Driving along, Bryan introduced me to his favorite roadtrip healthfood, beef jerky and coffee.  At 5 we arrived in Asheville, NC and made up for all of the healthy snacking by eating at an amazing vegetarian restaurant. Although we were planning to camp out again the rain dampened our plans. Instead we wound up at The Old Reynolds Mansion.  On a Sunday evening after cleaning up we went in search of a headlamp, deer whistles, a large flashlight and a good bar with some live music. We found all of the outdoor gear at Wal-mart. The entertainment for the evening consisted of  a guy named Jeff playing piano at Vincenzo's, a smoky piano bar and a karoake bar where we laughed as locals sang off key.
