We woke up at 6 am to go to the Cham ruins at My Son, this is said to be  a highlight in Vietnam. We tried to be optimistic but after seeing the temples at Angkor and Laos it was a bit disappointing.  I don't think we could have enjoyed anything with the sun beating on us and the humidity.  The pool sounded very appealing at this point. Our only stop of the day was to see Mr. Xe before we left to pick up our clothes.

At 5:30 we left for Danang airport and flew to Ho Chi Minh City(Saigon).  When we arrived it was pouring but at least the temperature cooled off. Bryan had a grand surprise, he had booked us a fancy hotel here overlooking the Saigon River. We are at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel. It is five star.
