Hoi Ann is a town where many of the restaurants advertise cooking courses, they have 1/2 day or evening lessons. We knew that we wanted to do this since we love the flavors in Vietnamese food. Some of you remember that I only had one day with Jenny, a Vietnamese friend, in May to learn everything. In our class of 7 we learned how to make vegetarian spring rolls, a squid salad, and grilled fish in banana leaves. Our teacher was cute, he explained everything from top to bottom. "I am sure you know how to use the oven, turn it on open the door, put the food in."
The food was great and now Bryan can cook up a Vietnamese feast too!
