We thought we had slept in till 9 but we learned that there was a time difference. The good news of the morning was that our laundry was done. ABC was out of pants.
Hoi An is described as a museum piece. The river that runs through it is the Thu Bon River. Old town Hoi An is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and there are Chinese, Japanese and European infulences in teh local architecture and in the art. The one thing that was amazing in Hoi An is that you have to pick and choose the sights that you want to see. A $10 ticket only lets you see five places. If you want to see all of the sights in the group you would have to buy 3 tickets. We covered what we could, the Japanese Covered Bridg, the Phung Hung House, the Museum of Trade and Ceramics, an art store (more shopping), the Phu Kien Assembly Hall and lunchat Miss Ly's. After lunch we hit the Museum of History and Culture and the Quan Cong Temple. Then the rain started and we tried on clothes at Mr. Xe's.
