The open bus picked us up at our hotel at 7:50, it was a good thing because we have so much stuff, it is almost impossible to carry. It took a while for the bus to get on the road since the tour company had to make sure that every seat was sold and the tickets had to be dropped off at the ticket office before the bus left Hue. It is amazing how although things over here have modernized a great deal the people still cling to bureaucracy. Once on the road, the bus made two stops, one at a beach rest stop and the other at a marble cave, since we had 30 minutes at the cave we decided to go in and check it out. What we saw was a bunch of freaky marble statues with Las Vegas style lights. The big attraction at the bottom was a snake eating a baby, SICK, I know! When we came out of the cave we were assaulted by women,"You buy elephant, very zeep, one dollar, very zeep."
