At 5am Kin our tuk-tuk driver picked us up. We went to see the sunrise at Sra Srang (Royal Bath) which was basically an ancient platform overlooking the water. After that we headed to Ta Prohm, another temple where the roots are intertwined among the ruins. Bryan got better pictures of this place since it was very dark. Well while we were at Ta Prohm and the mosquitoes were buzzing we realized that we forgot to take our malaria pills, so we took them. About a half hour later I was feeling so nauseous. And you got it, I made it to the bathroom but I got sick. I had to go back to the hotel, but since it was only 9 am I only missed a few hours of the day. Bryan took me back to the hotel, made sure I ate some rice and I went to bed for a few hours. Then he continued on with Kin and came back for me at 1, just in time for lunch. I was feeling much better and had more rice for lunch. At 2 the rain was coming down heavy, earlier than usual. That didn't stop us, we had all of our rain gear from REI and went to Prah Khan, it was quite spooky in the rain, it almost felt haunted. But the upside was that it wasn't crowded and no one was trying to sell us anything in the downpour. By 5:00 Bryan was tired so we headed back, he was feeling feverish so he stayed in bed for the night.
