11. Share a story about one of your siblings.

Share a story about one of your siblings. I only have one brother and he is unique to say the least. I have always felt I have had to take care of him. Probably because when he was little he was always ill. When he was 8 years old he ate bread from underneath the bird feeder in our side yard and got hepatitis. He was in the hospital for a long time. I worried so about him. It was touch and go for awhile for him.

12. Did you have a favorite pet while growing up? Tell us about your pet(s). If you didn't have one what did you wish for?

My favorite pet was Babe Cat. I love cats. Babe cat would be with me outside when I played and sleep with me at night. I am very allergic to animals, but I kept her near me night and day.

13. Did you haver a favorite family vacation? Tell us something about it.

My favorite family vacation was in March 2001. We were able to take our kids to Disney in Florida. It was the first time in my life that I had been on a plane. It was exciting to be so far away from home and to see how much fun my kids had in Disney. I felt like a kid again!

14. Do you follow any religious beliefs? Tell us about your church.

I can always remember believing in God and having a strong faith. I have never thought otherwise. I have been going to Christ Church United Methodist since I was young. I used to go with mom and have continued on with my husband and children. I became a member there back in 1989. Bill and I were married in that church also. He was Catholic at the time, but has since become a member. Mom tells of the stories of her and Aunt Nan going to Christ Church with Grandma Miller when they were little.

15. Do you collect anything? Tell us about your collection or favorite item.

I collect thimbles and old sewing tools. I also have a miniature owl collection. I collect things that are happy.

16. Is there someplace you lived that you especially liked or disliked and why?

I love my home here in South Glens Falls. It is a small home, but I fell in love with it the first day we came to look at it and knew this is where I would settle and raise our family. It is close to my job and the school and the surrounding cities. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. The best part is my backyard...my sanctuary in the spring and summer months. I am blessed and thankful for my home!
