After Philip and Marie were born I thought I wouldn't have any more children. Then one day I became ill and went to the hospital emergency room. While they were doing tests; I found out you were going to bless our home. I was in shock and your father was just walking on air. We moved to Utah right before you were born. One day at the hospital they did an ultra-sound, and we found out you were a Boy! We were both so excited, but your father was beaming. He wanted you to be a junior. I wanted to call you Garrett after a wonderful missionary we knew. I told Dad we would call you both and see who won. Right now your our Garrett, see Mom's always right! We are so glad you graced our home. What an empty house we would have had without you. You are such a loving person. I love you with all my heart.

Garrett is very talented and has a great sense of humor. He is his Dad's best buddy. Wherever Dad is, Garrett can be found close by. They share the same interests. Garrett loves airplanes and things dealing with history. He flew an airplane for the first time when he was eight years old. The pilot said he was a born natural at the controls. Garrett once made a two story fort in our backyard, between the two apple trees. The only problem with his fort was he had a real wood, wood stove in it. Needless to say, the fort burnt down, on his birthday, after his brother and he had a video tape burning party in the fort. Garrett can be counted on to save everything. He always has an idea of what he can make out of something. We are excited to see what Garrett will be when he growns up
