I love travelling,
although haven't done much yet. My husband used to be a backpacker when he
was young (!), here are some of our highlights:
|
Hong Kong:
the most vibrant city in the world, I'm very proud to say. One
of the top ten places you have to go before you die. Must visit
the Peak to admire the Victoria Harbour by night which will
captivate your heart, and Sai Kung to enjoy the scenic mountainous
views and tasty seafood which will appeal to your stomach.
Remember to buy watches from open markets, and go to the new
Disneyland on the Lantau Island. OHHH, I LOVE HONG KONG. |
 |
|
London:
London by night is beauuuuuutiful!!! You get most stuff here, multicultural. I particularly like to visit the heritage and
the old
structures like: Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Our favourite is Windor Castle - the long walk and the river were just
breathtaking, mind you, you have to go with the right person
though. River Thames by night is charming, particularly the
Big Ben, you don't get many places like this in other parts of the
world. |
 |
|
Australia (East coast):
we spent our honeymoon
there, so you can imagine we cannot remember much! We were stunned by
the beauty of the Sydney Harbour when we were on the cruise. Great
Barrier Reef was magnificent, we were down under the water and the
fish was passing by. We had a lovely swim in the middle of it.
Gold Coast wasn't as sparkling as it was said, perhaps we didn't
stay long enough to appreciate the beauty of it. Next time, we
will visit the Ayers Rock, and if God still allows, we'll try
flying, bungy jumping and rough water rafting. |
 |
|
Singapore:
probably the most tourist friendly
country in the world, friendly and warm people all over the tiny
place. Damn humid though. If you love orchids like us, remember to
visit The Orchids Garden. Most experiences are very
good. You don't need more than 4 or 5 days there. |
 |
|
Hangzhou:
The
lake was marvelous, must go on a cruise. |
 |
|
Shanghai:
The
Huangpujiang is splendid! with old and new buildings shining and
smiling to each other on both sides. Expensive though. |
 |
|
Taiwan:
one
of the best places in the world for food! |
 |
|
Hainan Island:
where the Government wanted to develop as a tourist paradise by
the sea because of its geography. I remember we had a really good
laugh looking at the feet palms when we were waiting in the
sitting room for feet massage. I won't buy pearls there, although
it is famous for it. The gold/platinum isn't really up to the
standard, and the pearl is slightly overpriced. Hong Kong is the
best place to go for jewellery. |
 |
|
Madrid:
we didn't stay long enough
to give a fair comment. Generally nice
people but can be as noisy as London. |
 |
|
Korea
(Seoul):
We had a lovely time there skiing and
sightseeing. Inexpensive, an ideal place to go for skiing. Lotte
World in Seoul is exciting. |
 |
For other places like Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, France,
Austria, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium and parts of China (Harbin,
Guilin, Tienshan etc.) etc. Drop me a line I will pass to my
husband....

| Cooking:
I began to pick up this hobby after I came to Britain. The main reason
is, I got stuck with few friends who are the chief chef in the family
with 5 star skills! One of my favourite dishes is Roast Pork,
with crispy skin and soft and juicy meat, yummy.....
My husband has already tried it few times and he didn't really want
to leave the table!
