Inutsaisho Costume Tutorial
Here are the Blueprints I made. Measurements Vary with your size. The only measurements you'll need for this peice is your Cheast and Waist. basically then you just Draw the shape of it onto 2 posterboards taped together.
In this picture you can see that it's the pattern for the Chest Armor that I made from poster board. Then I taped it to the Faux leather with packing tape. After that I cut it out along the edges and remove access tape. I did the same thing with the 2 bottom peices. See picture below for Shape of pattern peices for front and back.
This is what it looks like after making the front and back peice and then sewing them on. Also there is a Diagram of how to put them together. Now the front and back peices are sized based on your measurments and Hight but I am sure it would work for everyone as well. I'll add bluprints with measurements at the end of this tutorial or give it it's own page.
This is a Basic Arm brace that is just cut out. this was made based on my Arm measurements so it would fit my arm like a glove. I will add more detailed instructions for this later as well.
This is what it looks like after it has been painted using Fusion paint. Fusion paint is wonderful for PVC's. I read on the back and it says it bonds to hard to bond surfaces. I would Suggest using this paint for all Faux leathers. You can buy this leather at JoAnn's Fabric store for $9.99-$11.99/yd and all you will need is only one yard becuase it comes on a huge roll. When painting it put about 3-4 thin layers on them. Now you make a stencil like peice to paint it. The best thing to use is Sticky foamies, they're only 30cents a peice and you'll need to buy about 4-5 of them. Posterboard won't work because somehow the paint gets underneath messing it up.
This is what it looks like after adding the Eyelets. When buying the Eyelets, get the ones that comes with a tool inside. It only costs like $2.70 Each or something like that and you'll need to buy at least 4 packs of them. It also comes with instructions on how to use them. I'll Scan the instructions and add them to the site as well.
