Little Dragons is a program for kids ages 3- 6 to teach them the values of discipline, respect, focus, leadership, concentration, and a positive moral outlook. All students are taught respect for both their instructors and their peers. While still being taught the importance of martial arts and learning what it takes to become an expert the intended is to teach students various skills. Students' kempo training involves drills, games, and other activities. They have fun while developing their physical health, mental power and Strong moral character. Emphasis is placed on the responsibility that comes with martial arts training. It is always important to stay focused so they can achieve their goals and dreams. |

By starting early, kids
learn positive habits that will last a lifetime. Kids also learn to be leaders.
Another focus of this system is to give a child the Yes, I Can Do It attitude.
The martial arts techniques are specifically designed to provide your child with
a systematic progression of skills that will produce results quickly. The
children are rewarded immediately with either patches or new belt levels. This
is the key factor of the success in our classes.
Instead of teaching a traditional martial arts system to these young children,
our Little Dragon program teaches martial arts motor skills. The traditional
martial arts systems are too difficult for younger children to learn and enjoy.
The moves they are taught in class are very natural and easy to learn system of
developing skills with basic hands, elbows, knees, kicking and tumbling
techniques that are fun and exciting for children.
The traditional movements are not eliminated, but will be gradually introduced
at a much later, easier, and slower rate.
Rules of the Little Dragons.
1. At all times the students must obey the rules.
2. No horseplay.
3. No bad words or cursing.
4. No drugs. (If your child is taking medicine please let us know.)
5. No lying. This rule is very important, we can not accomplish anything if the
truth is not told.
6. No name calling.
7. No giving up. No saying "I can't". We must learn to admit when we have
trouble or don't like something, at home and the dojo.
8. Students must bow upon entry of the dojo.
9. Students' uniforms must be clean.
10. No gum or candy during practice time.
Little dragons do receive belts but they are all white belts with color stripes
