Weapons/Equipment:
  -A pair of magical gauntlets which allow Dracos to amplify the power
   of his energy strikes up to and including twice their original power.
   When not in use, the gauntlets shrink down into a pair of golden
   bracelets. The gauntlets cannot be removed by any means and are
   attuned specifically to Dracos' unique energy signature.
  -A magical breastplate which allows Dracos to absorb energy attacks of
   Beta level or lower, as well as some of the weaker Delta level
   attacks. Similar to the gauntlets mentioned above.
  -A medallion given to him as a gift from the Dragon Kings, which
   allows him to transform into a dragon. The medallion works by
   scanning a person's astral form, and changing their physical form to
   match. It can be used once a day, for up to three hours each use.
  -Starship NDF-0003 "Halberd", unique variable-combat transport ship.
   Wings can change position to fit with current situation. Able to
   carry up to three mecha inside the hull.
Personality: Quiet and softspoken. Often keeps to himself, but is not
             afraid to speak his own mind when he has something to say.
Origin: City of Avalon. Further details unknown. (And he's not saying
        anything, either...)
Backstory:  Dracos' childhood was uneventful. In fact, most of his life
          was spent simply fending for himself, until the age of 35,
          when he was approached by a beautiful woman calling herself
          Selene. It was she who informed him that he was destined to be
          a Guardian of the Balance, and it was she who trained him in
          his first use of the Mystic Forces. Over the first few years
          while she trained him, they gradually fell in love.
            Unfortunately, it was not to be. One day, during a training
          exercise, Dracos accidentally opened a gate into a random
          universe. When he did, a group of mercenaries/wizards came
          through. The events that followed were tragic and in the end,
          Selene died in his arms. With her last ounce of strength, she
          managed to give him the magical gauntlets which he still wears
          until this day.
            For the next 500 years, Dracos wandered the Multiverse,
          training to improve his expertise with the various Mystic
          Forces he came across. During that time, he found the magical
          breastplate which he also wears to this very day. His goal at
          this point was simply to master as many of the Mystic Forces
          as possible, since he knew he would need them once he was
          finally assigned to a universe which he was to guard.
            Eventually, he stumbled upon a universe known at the Dragon
          Homeworld. There, he found his calling in life. He served
          under the Dragon-God Bahamut, as a member of the Dragon
          Council. He dedicated his entire life to preserving and
          maintaining the Dragon Homeworld at all costs. It was his
          driving force, his one and only ambition.
            That is, until the day that the NDF learned of the existence
          of the Dragon Homeworld. The Nexus Defense Force's Xelloss
          Metallium discovered that the so-called Dragon Homeworld was
          not a real universe, but a construct kept in existence by a
          quantum "power tap". This was, according to the NDF, a danger
          to the existence of the multiverse and had to be destroyed.
          Dracos, unbelieving, stood up agains them.
            However, just as they were about to clash swords, Ryu
          Gabriev showed up and confirmed that the Dragon Homeworld was
          nothing more than a fake created by the scum of the
          multiverse, the God of Entropy, who had been masquerading as
          the Dragon-God Bahamut. Dracos was crushed by the information,
          and swore to destroy the being who had tricked him in such a
          foul manner and played upon his hopes and dreams. Together
          with Xelloss and Ryu, the three of them managed to destroy the
          God of Entropy, and with him, the Dragon Homeworld.
            Dracos returned with Xelloss to the NDF, only to find that
          as punishment for his actions, the Powers that Be had decided
          to strip him of his status as Guardian of the Balance until
          further notice. Once more, the foundation stones of his life
          were pulled out from under him. In dispair, he went to visit
          Selene's grave, at the time planning to end his misery once
          and for all. However, when he arrived there, he was met by
          none other than the Four Dragon Kings, who told him that, even
          though the Dragon Homeworld had not been real, his feeling of
          care for the Dragon race, and his drive to protect them as a
          species, had been very real indeed. For this they thanked him,
          and, in gratitude for his service, they entrusted to him a
          magical medallion which would allow him to transform his
          physical self to match his astral form: that of a gigantic
          golden dragon.
            Dracos returned to the NDF, and when he was offered a chance
          to become one of the NDF Elite Officers, he took it. He
          decided that, one way or another, he WOULD earn back his
          status as Guardian of the Balance, even if it took him all
          eternity to do so.

Notable Accomplishments:
   -Being the only known practitioner of a completely unique mystic
    energy known as Dragon Magic (see entry on Dragon Magic in Nexus
    Database).
   -Being the only person ever known to have created a white magic
    attack spell other than the renowned 'Holy', especially since said
    spell has been rated at the high end of Delta Level and equates
    with the incomplete 'Dragon Slave' spell.
   -Coming in first place in the NDF Mage Games for 10 consecutive
    years running.

Martial Training:
   -Dracos specializes in special techniques and energy attacks. He
    isn't as physically adept at combat as some of the other NDF
    officers, but he makes up for it with his ki, magic, and psi
    abilities.
