I've read a lot of your stories lately, Ryuen. And I have liked almost all of them ^_^. I haven't reviewed any of them, though. I think I'll do that later... I'm just not used to write in English myself though I unterstand it quite good.

Yup. To the point... This was realy nice one ^^. It's good to read this kind of short but strongly written fics sometimes. It was very... umm... stirring (is that the word..?). I can easily imagine Nuriko writing this. His bitter expression, the movements of his hands stiffen with emotions..

It was like he was unburdening his feelings by writing them as a letter. He wouldn't perhaps (even probably?) ever show it to Hotohori-sama, but he just needed to put his thoughts into words. And after this he just returnes to the "joyful Nuriko" that he always shows to the others :(. Poor boy...

And I have to say here; I just LOVE that intro of k.o.t.w.a.s. ^_^! I have to see it ones a day atleast *g*. It's just too sweet.

I am a supporter of H/N-pairing. I do like other ones too, but this is the best. Even when I have doubts of it.. Is it really the best for them? Does Nuriko love Hotohori just because the "Kourin"-thingy? But when you look at them together! They are just... perfect. Can't explain ^^;

I think I don't really mind about these things at all. These homosexual things, I mean. I think it's just nice that gender is not a problem as long as you love someone. I guess I might be a bi myself... I don't know. I have never had boy/girlfriends. But I have kissed only one person in my life and it was a girl like me. (veery pretty girl ^^; *blushes*)

This review is beginning to look very long... But I think the author don't mind ^_~.

Well that's it, I think. ^_^

Ich liebe es!! (I love it!) Nuriko is one of my favorite characters, and I like how you've portrayed his feelings. It ISN'T fair that everyone hates him!

That was excellent. It showed Nuriko's feelings in a realistic, if a little depressing, way. He couldn't help it, and it goes the same for all instances of unrequited love. I thought the story was brilliant. Well done.

Well done Ryuen-san! =) This captures Nuriko's thoughts and feelings well...and situation with the Emperor-sama as well as love in general.

Love is a beautiful thing. I can understand people have something against this kind of love, cause of beliefs and people who personally prefer not to read about it or see it. I'm okay with opinions. But I wish people would not lash out at people who write it. And insult characters like Nuriko because of it.

I always thought Nuriko falling in love with the Emperor was sweet. And towards the end I was cheering him on...Nuriko deserves to be loved not be made fun of it was so heart wrenching watching poor Nuriko pining over the emperor, I can't imagine anyone having anything against him because he was in love. And I hoped Hotohori felt the same just so Nuriko could have what he wanted...Hotohori's love.

And now I need to go read some more of Nuriko getting his man...finally fics! *grins* So keep on writing!

This is an incredibly moving commentary on "Nuriko's" part, and for the homosexual community in general. I can understand that sometimes the subject makes people uncomfortable, especially if they have always heard degrading remarks about those sorts of people. While that isn't absolving them of actions rashly done it is showing that it's possible to empathize with the other side. However, it doesn't seem like others are willing to open their minds or even their hearts. You don't have to completely accept something you've been raised to believe is wrong (it is a psychological near-impossibility); you just have to show the same kindness you would want to have.
My parents have attended a gay marriage. I know a girl that has two mothers. I have written stories with base pairings as homosexuals because I think those relationships are just as real as heterosexual ones. I feel that love is love is love, and that no matter what form it takes it shouldn't be condoned. I do not try to convert people to believing what I do, but I refuse to simply sit quietly and listen to people bad-mouth the gay community in general.
I don't expect the world's view on this subject to change immediately, or even in the span of my own lifetime. The only thing I hope to see is that we can teach our own children to love with all their hearts. It doesn't matter who they love-all that matters is that they do.
