Sometimes it's hard to think of a good review to all the stories I come across. Generally I like to comment on everything I liked about it (causing my reviews to last many many paragraphs) and give reasoning behind my words. However, there are times when I feel that there's nothing I can say that could possibly do justice to the things I have read and seen. The Sunrise Club is evident of that, though I promise to try my best and tell you what I feel.

Sometimes the most moving stories are those that don't push us to the brinks of emotional limits. They're the ones that ask us to remember the joys we are familiar with, the senses and feelings we've experienced outselves. In this, all that you've done here is reflect the contentment of friendship and love through the sunrise. In this we see the depth of the relationship between all seishi as strong and reliable as the rising sun. Even with Ayuru, the seishi that didn't always think of others in the past, is here now with the ones who care about him (even if it's on some minimal level).

The most moving part for me was the last part of the story - obviously what you were emphasizing because of the italics - but it rings deep in my chest for personal reasons. Every time I move on in my life, I'm always leaving something behind. I was the only kid going from my grammar school to my high school, and the only one to go from my high school to my college. It's hard to rebuild friendships from scratch, yet... yet I don't regret that. I always remember the people I've known and who've shared a friendship with me. And we grow apart as is natural, but I can still look back and smile as I read my yearbooks or flip through pictures because we had our moments. We had our "sunrises", and that's all that mattered.

I deeply enjoyed this story, Ryu-chan, for it brought back memories and things long forgotten in the cobwebs of my much-addled mind. *grins* You are a true master, a virtuoso in the art of emotional writing. May the muses always smile upon you, and great joys and friendships follow where you tread. Luck and luv.

Pretty. I like. Even if I can't figure out who So is (Chiriko?). But it's a beautiful, WAFFy frendshippy fic that is very very sweet.

This is a great fic, nice and friendship-y, and of course it has a lot of Nuriko/Ryuen and Tomo/Chuin, who are COOL. I think everybody was in character, and Mitsukake/Myojuan got Shoka! Good for him! Anyway, I reaaaally like this!
