Bob Richard considers himself many things, a guitar player, singer, engineer and producer, but his true love is song writing. Bob owns and operates Earth Music Studios, a music production studio located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, writing and producing songs and music for publishing, multi- media, television and film. Over the past ten years Bob has written hundreds of songs in many different styles, from alternative and Beatle-esque pop to bluegrass and country. As well, he has an incredible talent for creating unique and effective instrumentals.
Being a full time live player for twenty years definitely enhances the creative process; nothing can replace the experience of performing live on a regular bases. Bob feels at this point in his career, there is no limit to what he can accomplish musically- "And truly, the music is always its own reward".
Bob writes from the heart, but at the same time, focuses on not alienating the listener, or straying to far away from what a project is calling for. "A song can be many things to many people, but a good song will always stir something in almost everyone".
