Day
Four:
On the fourth
morning we woke up and took a cold shower.
We then packed our tent away and headed to Hana. We spent the morning sitting on a bench in
Hana Harbor and then walked out to Red Sand Beach. This was an awesome beach.
Here we once again entered the ocean.
Afterwards, we went and ate lunch and then went to a small store.
Then
we headed toward Venus Pool. We hopped
the fence and scrambled down the hill and watched as children slid off the
rocks and into the pool. We did not join them.
Instead, we returned to the car and drove to the Seven Sacred Pools
(which, by the way, have never been sacred).
We reached the pools by noon. We set up our tent after driving down a dirt
road. Following that, we went to the
pools.

After
climbing over rocks to get to one of the large pools I jumped in. We swam for an hour and I jumped off near
the waterfall.

After our swim we began a hike. It was incredible as we made our way through
a bamboo forest.
