When word reached Ryslen (and news always does, though sometimes too late) of a large "clutch" of Drak-Mirusian hybrids about to be born into the world, Ekaisi was elated. Being half Drak herself, she knew what it was like to be a halfbreed. Fortunately, there had never been any prejudices towards "mutts" or preference for "full blooded" dragons.As soon as she could gather what she'd need for a trip offworld, Ekaisi shifted into her blue-silver Drak-Avyndal form and made a leap.
What the shifter found, as she got her bearings at Mirus, was a near-birthing. Birthing! Mirus dragons, as she'd already forgotten at least once, were born live and did not hatch out of eggs like many other breeds of dragons.
