VINI ULTRAMARINA
Size: Average body size is 18 centimeters; wingspan is about 11 centimeters.
Habitat: Tahiti
Similar to the Lorikeets found in pet stores, there are only about 1,500-2,000 left in their wild habitat. They have white throats. On their native island, imported foreign spices and diseases have brought this species to the brink of extinction.
