Personality
She's your typical refined, political young lady. Aeka is quiet, demure, polite, and carries a royal, at times conceited, air around her. However, once her anger is sparked (usually by Ryouko) she can be very rough and opinionated. In fact, the only times Aeka exhibits mad emotions is when Ryouko teases her. Overall, this princess is a very calm and gentle individual. Just…not around the space pirate. Despite how proper and timid Aeka may be, she can be just as sadistic and aggressive--sexually--as Ryouko.

History
Aeka is the Crown Princess of Jurai, and fiancée of the Crown Prince, Yoshou. When she was fairly young in age, Ryouko's wrath was unleashed on the planet Jurai, forcing Yoshou to depart in hopes of vanquishing the demon. After many years of waiting for her half-brother's return, she finally departed on a long journey in hopes of finding him. She was stashed in cold sleep during the long flight to the planet Earth. Upon her arrival, Ryu-oh, her ship, detected that Ryouko was also on this planet. Aeka preformed a half-successful capture of the demon as well as Tenchi before he unwittingly caused Ryouko's escape. The space pirate attempted to kill Aeka by driving her ship through the Earth's atmosphere at a dangerously high speed. The princess begged for her life (after threats and political mean-talk) and actually survived the fall. Finally, she was stranded on Earth.

In the TV series, Aeka and Ryouko are already…well aquatinted. In this variation of the Tenchi Muyo! series, Aeka is the Crown Princess of Jurai, but there are other branch families who are also competing for the throne. Since she is not related to Yoshou, she isn't searching for him, but is frequently having meetings with princes who are hoping to be her husband. Her ship picks up a distress signal sent from Mihoshi, who is stranded on Earth. There she encounters her long lost "friend", Ryouko. Enraged from having an 'unwanted' encounter with the space pirate, the princess departs, nearly leaving Mihoshi behind. When all is said and done, Aeka becomes stranded on Earth, but not so much to her dismay.
